I need a neat way to store my clothes that doesn’t involve a dresser or plastic bins or vacuum bag things. Im staying in a kinda basement apartment and there’s no closet. Im trying to go for something subtle, simple, and modern. Any sites or ideas would be great

So I’m going to be going to Florida for about a year. I need to take bed sheets, towels, etc. I won’t have enough time or energy upon landing to go buy all the stuff. So I’m wondering if there are any vacuum seal bags/containers that everyone recommends, and if they are safe to take on a plane. They will be going in my checked baggage, not in carry-on bags.
Thanks!

(a) Give a brief explanation, with a diagram, of why the gravitational field inside a uniform spherical shell of matter is zero.
(b) Suppose a very deep tunnel is drilled vertically down. What is the gravitational force felt by a mass of 1 kg in the tunnel at a distance r from the center of the earth, given that it is 10 Newtons at distance RE = 6400 km., that is, at the earth’s surface? (Assume the Earth’s density is uniform.)
* The rest of this question requires knowledge of Simple Harmonic Motion.
(c) Now suppose in a massive engineering project the tunnel is drilled in a straight line through the center of the earth and reemerges near Australia. The air is pumped out of the tunnel, leaving a vacuum. A 1 kg package is dropped from rest at one end. How long does it take to reach the other end?
(d) Suppose there is an asteroid of 64 km radius, made of material with the same density as the earth. If an exactly similar tunnel is drilled through this asteroid, how long would it take a package to “fall” from one end to the other?

ok so im going back to college and i bought some space bags to pack my clothes in. I bought the flat bags and i put all my clothes in them but when i vacuumed out the air they were not as flat as it says on the box or even on the commercial. So im wondering whats the best way to pack things like jeans and bulky things like hoodies so that it is completely flat. And also when i use the vacuum is it supposed to fit completely over the valve or does it not matter.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP

I bought a gravel cleaner from our local pet store. It’s not electric, and it doesn’t have a bag or anything connected to it (like I’ve read in previously research). I read the directions correctly on the packaging, but it took out SOOO much water and barely any waste. I’m just wondering if it would be easier to just scoop out all the gravel somehow and rinse it in warm water instead of having so much of a water change (I wasn’t even halfway done and 50% of the water was out of the tank) that it harms the fish.

Tonight I am having smoked salmon out of a vacuum sealed package, and I am wondering if the amount of sodium is bad for my heart? Last night I had crowder peas and corned beef hash. It was Libby’s corned beef hash and it was delicious. I also like eating potted meat for lunch. I am 32 years old and I really feel like I am slowing down. My motivation levels have decreased and I cannot go to bed without drinking a beer. Do you think that this lifestyle is negative and what should I do to change it?

Morning Elegy
Ana Blandiana *
Romania
At the beginning I promised to say nothing,
But later, in the morning
I saw you coming past the gates with bags of ashes
Scattering them as if one was sowing wheat.
As I could no longer contain myself, I shouted: What are you doing? What are you doing?
It is for you that I had snowed all over town, the whole night,
It is for you that I had blanched everything, the whole night, O if
You only could understand how difficult it is to snow!
Last night, you were hardly asleep, as I flew into space
It was dark and cold out there. I had to
Fly all the way to that single point where
The vacuum makes the suns spin and it snuffles them out,
And as I was still throbbing for a while in this corner
So that I could return and snow over you
The smallest snowflake I had to watch, weigh, approve,
Mature, make it glisten by looking at it,
And now I am feeling sleepy and exhausted and am feverish.
As I am watching you spreading the dust of that extinguished fire
Over my immaculately white work, I am smiling telling you:
Much higher snowdrifts will come after me
And they will cover you with all the white in the world.
Do try to understand, from the very beginning, this law,
Gigantic snowdrifts will come after us
And you will run out of ashes.
And even the smallest babies will learn how to snow
And the white will cover your poor attempts of denying it.
And planet Earth will enter the whirl of planets
Like a star glistening with snow.

Constantin Roman.

I drank some old tea lying around my house and when I finished it I realized that its expiration was a year or two old. Will I be okay I also usually drink tea with the leaves out of the bag. Also the tea bags are in some kinda vacuum sealed pack. The tea is Kirkland signature green tea.

I have these neighbors who are just absolutely repulsive! Lately they haven’t been over to our house, but because we’ve made ourselves unavailable to them. But before they were always here, always asking for things, always needing our help. Then it turned into not asking anymore. They would just walk in instead of knocking, making themselves at home, putting their nasty stinky feet on our couches, walking straight to our refrigerator and asking to eat our food or drink our sodas. One day they were here and I began vacuuming, and they said I was O.C.D. because I vacuum all the time. Truth is, I have a one year old and vacuuming is very necessary all the time, am I right? I guess they would say that because when I went into their house, it was disgusting! There was absolutely no space to walk, there was food crumbs everywhere, dishes, clothes, junk, all over the floor and on their couches. The kitchen was completely destroyed, the stove that was once white was completely black, there were millions of trash bags just waiting to be taken out, moldy food sitting around, just totally disgusting. They even admitted to me that they came to our house so much to get away from the disaster they have at home. Yet when I go over to ask them something, I see them sitting on their lazy butts, always on their laptops, wasting valuable time they could be using to clean. Well, my concerns are with their child. Their house is so nasty that they have mold growing in their restroom and no will to clean it. So they never bathe her, they always keep her in a playpen (which she is already one year old, she should be able to have space to run around!), they don’t even feed her right. You can see it when they bring her out to play with my son and the other neighbor’s daughter. My son and the other neighbor’s daughter are chubby, very healthy looking and able to walk and run. Their child is very small, very thin, and has trouble responding when they call her name, and walks without bending her knees. They said they don’t really know what they can give her to eat, so they give her 3 bottles of non-fat milk all day. They put her in her crib for constant naps all day so they don’t have to deal with her. She had a horrible diaper rash with bleeding and sores, and they came home with a carton of cigarettes instead of diaper rash cream and had the ordacity to say that they could not afford diaper rash cream. I felt so bad, I gave them a tube of my son’s. There is just so much more that I could go on and on about, but the point is, that baby is not in good hands. My problem with this is that I have no proof but the words of my two neighbors who also see all this going on. I have a picture of the husband throwing the baby in the air so high that it makes me so mad to see it! (they gave me a print out) The thing is, I am the only one who has it and if I do send it to someone for investigation they will know its me. I seriously do not know whether I should let it be or do something about it. I’m not even very interested in being friends with them at this point, but it just feels so messed up! Someone help me! What would you do?!
I’m sorry it is so long, but I had to let you know most of the situation, its so frustrating!
