love pillows, blankets and comforters, but now I have the problem of storage. I’m looking for one of those vacuum-type storage things. I’ve read that there are cheap ones that do not do the job well, so I want to be sure to research before I invest. Don’t the really good ones cost quite a bit?
If you have, or know someone who has one of these, please let me know: what kind, where did you get it, how much ( and how much are the storage bags), and mostly -is it effective?
Thanks
ps. I am leary of mail order from unrecognized vendors…

im in the backroom of my dads room (he has a room and a room connected to it like theres a door by the closet and you open it theres a whole other room). He just moved in 2 weeks ago. There’s a heater and it doesnt blow cold air its HOT in here. Theres also like no room in here its crowded with pillows, blankets, boxes, shelves, chairs, vacuum, bags, dresser, closet, iron, notebook, 9 suitcases i have LIMITED SPACE. I cant open windows its -5 degrees outside and im not aloud to open windows and its an ice storm/blizzard right now. My dad and 3 sisters are in here watching a movie (the only tv in this 2 bedroom thingy and its on the floor). The heater runs automatically and to turn it off you have to go outside by the garage which is across the yard and garden covered in snow. Its 9:15pm right now. I HAVE to stay up here by myself my dad in the other room my one sister on the ONLY couch downstairs (tiny TINY living room) and the other one in the heated attack (the door to open it you have to yang it hard and it falls down in like 2 secs on your head and has a extremley LOUD bang when it hits the floor. My grandparents are sleeping by the attack enterance.
Theres a TV and computer this movie sucks but they dont wanna watch anything else..
What do i do?

I’m going to fog for fleas on Monday, I’m currently rearranging my kids rooms and vacuuming like crazy (and freezing the vacuum bag in a sealed bag overnight so I can use again).
I know I have to have everything off the floor but I have a lot of blankets and clothes (5 of us in the house) that were previously stored in closets and plastic boxes.
Should I wash & dry them then tie them in plastic bags and when we’ve fogged put them away or leave them on a table in bags set off the foggers and wash them after?
I just don’t want to wash them all now just to wash them again after we bomb for fleas.
Any help would be appreciated.
ps. after we fog the entire house what should we do to avoid a reinfestation, we don’t have cats or dogs.
Thanks for all the advice
What should I do with them before I bomb the house? Should I rehang them in the closet or bag them and leave the bags open at the top when we fog?
If I fold the blankets and put them in the box again will the fogger work on them?
I have never had to fog my house before so I don’t want to mess it up

My husband and I have lived in this apartment for about a year and started finding bites on our skin after our neighbor moved in. We had the landlord call someone to inspect our apartment and couldn’t find anything. The inspector then asked to see the neighbors unit and long behold, they were literally covered over the walls. They were crawling under the carpet to access our apartment. The exterminator has been here about 4 times now and my neighbor still has the problem. I put duct tape all around the wall and carpet so they cannot enter. We were sleeping on the floor surrounded by duct tape and caught two bugs. After the last extermination I only found one bug alive and have not found any more on the tape. We want to get the hell out of here and have the concern of bringing them with us. We are going to stay at my parents, double bag clothing and blankets to wash them, and put our stuff in a storage unit until we can find a new place. The exterminator can’t come back again until the time we need to be out of apartment, we gave our notice. My question is if I vacuum everything, put it loosely in a box, and spray the bed bug spray all over some furniture, does it really work? Then leave the bigger furniture here and after exterminator comes, put it with the rest in storage and let off a fogger? We already had to throw away couch and not looking to throw out any more items unless absolutely necessary. Could this help solve our bed bug fiasco? Has anyone else been through this situation? Thanks in advance!!!

I posted not a month and a half ago about these beasts. I have children but they are scared enough to keep laundry out of floors and toys picked up now. My poor 4 year old cries if her blankets are not shook out at bed time. We are on top of vacuuming. Small toys for baby dolls and doll houses are now kept in huge zip locks, paper bags gone replaced now with plastic storage. Glue traps all over the place. No room has less than 2 and up to 4. Call an exterminator out and he has been here 2 times. I also fogged.
What else can I do? I have the place spotless with traps and poisons. Am I missing something? Oh, why I came back to ask is because in that time I have killed almost 10 more of these vile beasts while in the last year and a half here I never noticed one. I must be doing something in the last month and half to attract them.
What does hairspray do to the webs and how do you find the web? They make small web retreats to hide in out of the way.

Only one suitecase allowed and a lot of things to pack, including bulky items, feather and down jackets and blankets. What do I do?
I will be flying home from UK to Russia, one-way. I would like to pack as much as I can, as shipping by Royal Mail is quite expensive. Also is it true that those vacuum bags can damage down and feather items?

And typically what do they cost?
They need to be those plastic containers unfortunatly.. I didnt like those vacuumed bags, plus it isnt just blankets I need to store. Items need to go in aswell.
They need to be plastic with lids, my only storage area is 1 room in the attic that my landlord let me have.. which is infested with flys in the summer (roof needs to be replaced) and in the summer theres bees and flys all dead all over the place.
So obviously its gross, and I need storage items (big ones!) that wont allow them in, or atleast help keep them out as much as possible.
