I have to pack in TWO DAYS for this move,and while I’d rather not expand on the story,this can only be one trip so I have to use as few boxes as possible…my question is…how on earth can i compactly pack away clothing?? boxes are my only option unless someone has a creative way to use garbage bags,seeing as i have no access to a vacuum hose for those vacuum-sealed bag things…any help?

My bf and I are moving across the country (2,600miles) and we are only taking one car and a top carrier for it. I would like to vacuum seal all of our clothes, blankets, towels, etc in vacuum bags storage.
Is there a good way to make my own vacuum seal bags, maybe out of big garbage bags?
Has anyone ever done this, or used the already made ones to get more room in your car?
