I am flying Allegiant Air. I am using a carry-on suitcase.
I don’t want to have to go through security and have them say I can’t use the storage bags and them openning them and I not being able vacuum the air out of the bags.
I leave the 11th for vegas
I am flying out of JFK (NYC) on a Delta international flight.
I know they sometimes open up checked baggage and look in them. I am wondering to what extent do they do this, because I am packing some of my stuff in those vacuum seal bags that suck out all the air so I have more room. I am concerned that they will open these bags to search in them, letting in all the air, and thus not being able to get my stuff to fit in the suitcase again.
I am going on a long trip and I saw these vacuum sealed clothes bags at walmart that are used for space saving. So wanting to save some space in my luggage I bought the largest one a tote bag 25"x20"x10" that fits perfectly in my suitcase. I am not sure if the TSA will accept it or not. Does anyone know about this, have you tried it or know some one who did? I am leaving tomorrow morning so I need to know asap if this is stupid or not! Thank you in advance.

Now you can pack up to twice as much in your suitcase, gym bag or baby bag. Plus avoid paying airline baggage fees, by fitting everything into a carry-on. Just pack your items, seal the airtight zipper, and roll our the air through the one-way valve. Everything stays compressed & protected. Plus they’re airtight and waterproof, so you can protect your items from dirt, bugs, water and odors.
So i’m going to live abroad in UK for 3 months. I thought it’s probably a good idea to bring some light weighted stuff myself so I get to save a bit on my budget. I bought space bags so i can vacuum some bed linen into my suitcase. Now I wonder could Sanitary Pad be put into space bag as well? i mean would it be usable once i take it out from the vacuum bag?
you know the ones you see on tv that takes the air out of the bag and compresses it. i am studying abroad this summer in high school for 6weeks and my parents will only let me bring one suitcase! i wanted to get the kind that like the kind for packing suitcases if you know what i mean.
i need to buy some of those airtight vacuum sealed storage bags that you can put a bunch of clothes in. i am NOT a light packer, and I’m about to go to the beach and we have limited space in the vehicle, so i can only take one medium suitcase. Does anybody know of a store like walmart where i can get these for no more than ?
